At Foundation Imaging, we offer diagnostic scans including MRI, CT, and X-rays — all in a comfortable, professional setting.Â
Working alongside an experienced team of radiologists, we deliver thorough and reliable imaging services to help detect and diagnose a wide range of medical conditions. Whether you come to us directly or through a referral, you can count on timely, accurate results to support your care journey.
MRI uses strong magnetic fields to produce detailed images of organs and tissues in the body. It is usually used for disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment monitoring.
A CT scan combines X-ray and computer processing to produce detailed cross-sectional images of bones, blood vessels and soft tissues in the body.
X-rays create pictures of dense materials inside the body when X-ray beams pass through and are absorbed at different rates by various tissues. Dense materials, such as bones, absorb more of the X-rays and appear white on the image, while less dense materials, like muscles and fat, absorb fewer X-rays and show up in shades of grey. Air-filled spaces, such as the lungs, appear black because they absorb very little radiation.
